River's Way Consulting (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, company, the area you’re interested in, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to manage any resulting client relationship.

If you book a consultation, scheduling is handled by Calendly, which collects the information needed to create the appointment. Calendly processes that data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

To understand how people find us, this site records — in your browser’s session storage — the page you first arrived on, the website or campaign that referred you (including any UTM parameters in the link you followed), and the pages you visit during that session. This information is stored on your device only, is deleted when you close the tab, and is never sold or shared with advertising networks.

If, and only if, you submit the contact form, that visit summary is attached to your enquiry so we understand the context of your message. If you never submit a form, it is never transmitted to us.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device. No analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set unless you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics data is collected. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will show the banner again.

Information collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google under its own privacy terms. We have enabled IP anonymisation.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Resend — delivering contact form notifications and your confirmation email.
• Calendly — consultation scheduling.
• Sanity — content management for articles and case studies.
• Google Analytics — site analytics, only with your consent.
• Our customer relationship management system — storing and following up on enquiries.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, and thereafter as required by law. Session attribution data is discarded when you close your browser tab unless you submitted a form.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at david@rw.consulting and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us.

Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
